My family is finally going to give satellite internet service a go. Why? Well, it’s because I heard it was good and anyone in North America can get it. We have decided to go with Hughesnet satellite internet. We already have high speed at home, but we are going to use satellite at out office. We have a small family business and we need a faster connection in order to process more orders and talk on the phone at the same time we are online.

I know, it’s a little counterproductive to not have high speed at our office, but give us some slack. We were using two phone jacks, one for calls and one for the Internet. Now that the business is growing we have decided to use both jacks for our two computers and the phone jack for the phone and for the fax. Smart? I know. We’re learning.
Huges Net satellite internet offers a full suite of services that will be great for our small business. We aren’t huge, but we do need faster service than what we have at home. One of the things we particularly like is we can have our own private network. We think that will make us more professional. And they have 24/7 customer service just in case we have any problems at all.
Our small business has grown to more than one web site and that is one of the reasons we want a private network. It was just too expensive with broadband, but Hughes Net is much more affordable. Additionally, we needed reliable email services and they offer that as well.
Living in Florida we were concerned that because we have so many hurricanes, satellite internet would be a pretty imbecilic idea, but Hughes Net already has a plan in place that will get our connection back up in the event we have a hurricane or other strong storm. That’s very reassuring. They already have a plan in place before a storm happens to reduce any long-term downtime.
It’s a little scary moving to satellite service because it is so new to me, but you know what, I am confident in Hughes to be able to get us online, provide us with stellar service, and help if there is any type of outage of our service. And there are plenty of people who have testified to their satisfaction with their satellite Internet service. So, in short I am going to get Hughes Net satellite internet.
