News as we look at it is the reflection or mirroring of an occurrence or a happening. News as it has become is extremely opinionated. Instead of facts that a medium should portray it indulges in biases of those who portray it, disregarding the influence it asserts on the society in general. Media exerts a very important influence on how an event is interpreted so it confluences any events that occur in retort of the actual occurrence.
It shapes a lot of minds, a lot of happening and a lot of behaviors.

Mass media has various forms like print, electronic and broadcasting. Each has its following and target audience. Each plays a pivotal role in influencing minds.
We live in a society that depends on information and communication to keep moving in the right direction and do our daily activities like work, entertainment, health care, education, personal relationships, traveling and anything else that we have to do.

We have put our trust on the media as an authority to give us news, entertainment and education. However, the influence of mass media on our society is so big that we should know how it really works. The violence that the media is working so hard to display in its raw form plays a very important role in influencing young minds to resort to violence and other drastic measures.

Another problem is that real war is used as a form of entertainment by the media, we should be aware that war is not a form of entertainment and that there is no win or lose like in a game, in real war everyone loses.
